Interesting, but I don't think you quite make yr case against JB (I hadn't heard of Bramham, I'm afraid). I dunno whether she is bisexual or not (and still less care) and yes, political-lebianism is pretty unattractive: I know somebody who (a-hem) 'practised' it out of some half-baked 1970s feminist position and her genuine lesbian lover was deeply hurt when the straight truth came out. Not good. JB has said some hard if justifiable things abt gay male misogyny. I just think gay rights is a coalition of partly differing interests including an overlap with women's politics. The resultant internal fights help keep the movement alive. Thanks for yr stuff!
