Sexually Pressuring Homosexuals is a Cornerstone of Trans Activism
It isn’t “some”…It is a pivotal and foundational tenet to gender ideology and the trans movement.
The recent BBC article on sexual pressure from ‘transwomen’ was amazing, but it didn’t go far enough. It beat around the bush: it only scratched the surface. The fact is, sexually pressuring homosexuals is a cornerstone of trans activism.
It isn’t “some”. It isn’t a minority. It is a pivotal and foundational tenet to gender ideology and the trans movement. It is a genuine issue that must be examined, discussed and addressed.
This isn’t a matter of a few, rare instances. How could anyone possibly assert such a thing when one of the most commonly repeated trans sentiments is “genital preferences are transphobic.”
This notion is deeply homophobic and wildly popular. It reduces homosexuality down to a preference, or a choice. It also moralizes our sexuality, suggesting that if lesbians and gay men don’t sleep with and date trans-identified people of the opposite sex, then we are bigoted against trans-identified people.
The mainstream trans movement demands that homosexuals ignore biological sex in favor of transgender identity. According to trans activism, acknowledging biological sex is tantamount to bias at its best, and oppression for trans people at its worst.
The only minority in this situation are the trans-identified people that don’t believe these things. Most trans people and their allies believe these things to be true.
This is something that occurs more than just online. We’ve seen how Planned Parenthood has hosted physical classrooms meant to “overcome” lesbians sexual boundaries. We’ve seen how major trans institutions distribute literature that encourages rape by deception of gay males. Horrendous homophobia spews from an overwhelmingly large sect of the trans community, justified because homosexuals are seen as more privileged than those that identify as transgender. Entire conceptual ceilings have been adopted to describe this phenomenon: The Cotton Ceiling, and the Boxer Ceiling. Still, online very much is home to some of the most disturbing homophobic rhetoric.
Thousands of people flock to TikTok to have the discourse. A search for “genital preferences” leads to a warped, depraved rabbit hole of homophobia. Only a few stand up to this onslaught of homophobia, silenced for defending homosexuals against this modern form of conversion therapy. It remains shielded from criticism due to falsely framing itself as a matter of human rights for trans people.
Society needs to come to understand that this issue is prevalent and harmful. It is not a fleeting, non-issue to be swept under the rug. It poses a genuine threat to the autonomy and safety of homosexuals (and with the loss of single-sex spaces, to women as a sex class) and it’s time that others wake up to it.
In fact, as it represents a new form of homophobia and conversion therapy facing lesbians and gay men, it also represents the next fight for gay rights. Scoff and dismiss that idea if you will. But major publications like BBC are using terms like “cotton ceiling” and pulling out of Stonewall. People are listening and taking this issue seriously. The tide is beginning to turn in the favor of homosexuals once more.
